Biography

​​David Otey is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and works as a New York City-based strength coach with 10 years of experience in the industry. Otey received his BS in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in which he assisted in both the Rutgers Athletic department and Exercise Science Research. David is on the 2019 advisory board for Men's Health Magazine and was the 2015 Fitness Manager of the Year for Equinox. Otey is a regular expert contributor to Muscle & Fitness, Men's Health, and Furthermore Magazines.
